About The Author
Thomas Lamia is a man of thought; a man who fills his mind with endless possibilities and then determines to fulfill those possibilities. A man, inspired by many different characters, Thomas’s need for fulfillment stems from one of the great independent thinkers of his time, William Blake, who once said, “I must create a system, or be enslaved by another man’s. I will not reason and compare: my business is to create,”
Thomas operated a masonry construction corporation in New York for well over 30 years, and so a deeper perception of life came to stay. Thomas shares his thoughts with John Steinbeck, another independent thinker of his time. “To be alive at all is to have scars,” he said.
With all of these thoughts and experiences, and as a mason contractor, Thomas Lamia moves on in life and continues to interact with people of different cultures from all over the world. “I have had up to five or six different languages spoken on my crew at one time. However, the language of respect transcends the language barrier 100 percent of the time.” He claimed.
His experiences, his environment, and everything that happened around him allowed him to discover brilliant stories, and find a common theme within the crew.
